Artist's Comments
I made this for a competition here in Sweden. The theme was real life Nintendo characters. I am Bowser and my friend Olle is Bowser Jr. It was really funny to do becuse I didnt want just us to look exactly as the original characters. I wanted us to look as human as possible.
So i dressed us up (digitally) in snake and aligator skin pants and jackets to imitate the reptile skin of Bowser. I also changed my shoes digitally to cowboy boots. I made my hair red and added fuzzy eyebrowns. For Bowser Jr. I did a cool spikey helmet, added some tats (it says LOVE and HATE on the fingers). The tricky part was to pose for the picture becuse we didnt had the car in front of us. I did then add several layers of textures to the car. I think it went out quite good. What do you guys think? |
